winter rims and tires

does anyone know the smallest rim that will fit on a 07 ss/sc.
i want to put on winter tires, but the cheapest tire i have found to fit the stock 18" wheels
is $1200.

16's are as small as you can go and clear the calipers

does anyone know of a winter tire to fit the stock rims that wonte break the bank?.

get steelies...49 a rim... and then some good winter tire, usually around 80 -100 a tire.. i spent 580 total shipped

who cares about looks... its winter...

Going with the 16" steel wheels and a good snow tire is the way to go. I've also got an 07 and the 16" wheel with 215 55 16 combo works great

i found the same deal, but it costs almost $300 to shipp to canada.
