ok cool, i have seen many cobalts and never seen one like that. guess its kinda cool though, you could run the hahn setup for the 2.4 and still have a stick!

the 5-speed 2.4s outnumber the automatics by a wide margin, at least here on the site.

Yo Rein what is that on your steering column?

 

He's made one for both the Auto and Manual. The problem is that the Manaul transmission in the SS/NA isn't rated to handle that much HP. The automatic however, is rated up to 300hp(same one in the v6 Malibu's and Impala's). The auto tranny is actually stronger "stock", than any of the manuals in cobalts.

well the tranny might be the same, but the shifter sure as hell isnt,lol

 

Actually the auto tranny can take a **** load more than the standard.
