Poll for where to have the texas cobalt meet

Now remember that we want everyone to be able to come and not to have to drive far, Think central (for the people that are coming)
We got four choices
Austin
Houston
San Antoinio
DFW

Since I'm in the DFW area that would be a cool place to meet! But in all fairness to everyone, Austin is the most central of those choices. Plus a nice cruise down there with others from the board would be fun.

Im north of Dallas, voted for Austin. I think that would be the more centralized location. Us DFW guys can roll down together. When are we estimating that this will take place?

I think Austin Sounds like a good Place. I wouldn't mind San Antonio but it has to be fair for everyone, besides i got family near Austin which I can crash at to stay. I'm already anticipating for that Cobalt meet, Finally.

Ok Austin would be the most central but I am not sure what there is to car wise. One thing that would be fun is to take every out to 6th street and get hammered. The DFW area has tons of things to do but I know that because this is were I am from. My be we can get some local Austin guys to start doing some leg work. Is there a track in Austin? I think no matter what is planed we must have a track day.

**** the track, we'll go make some passes in Mexico. I might make it... Depends on if I've got my car all setup how I want it at the time.

**** that our cars wouldn't last very long in Mexico.

The good thing about the DFW area is that it would be a more central area so that the OK, AR, and LA guys could make the trip if there is enough interest.

I agree, DFW is the place for a regional meet (which we could start talking about) but for the texas meet austin makes the most sense. We should be looking hard about what we are going to do for the day.

I totally agree with you. The only things I know about Austin has to do with drinking and hippie hassling. I don't know of much automotive stuff, any one else?

Since there ain't many placing around here to really air out our rides, I here there are places around austin. The day could be centered around that and a meeting spot could be a chevy dealers (if we can pull that off).

than it shall be up to the austin people to locate a sight for the meet and to make sure its all good and we don't get kicked out by the popo. It would suck for Houston, and DFW guys to go and get kicked out 30 minutes after we all get there.
