S'toon Meet

Considering the amazing turn out for the Alberta 'snow meet', we should have one as well.

Winter beaters welcome (for those that are in storage)

Pick a place and time before Christmas.
I'm gonna throw out Dec 14, Circle & 8th underground parking (out of the wind!), at 7pm.

Christmas party with my work, don't know if i'll go to that yet though, might as well also ask if anyone knows a place to get cheap steel rims, i was just going to keep it how it is through winter due to lack of money to throw around, but now that i need a new tire i'm looking at my options

Hey, got a question for you guys running steelies. I bought my set of winter rims and tires for my 04 so I've had them for 3 years already. They sold me another set of lugnuts with them that I assumed were because our stock ones were too short (I don't remember the reason why since they were purchased in Lloydminster and I went and picked them up from my parents). We put these on the 07 a month or so ago and I completely forgot about them until we had them all on with the stockers and of course no problems at all. Just wondering if I'm the only idiot that got hosed on the lugnut thing?

I'm just using the stock lug nuts for now...
I'm not sure about the rims your '04 had, but it is possible that it may have come with thicker rims. Are the rims on your new one any different?

The stock rims were exactly the same on my 04'. They were all polished instead of gunmetal with the polished lip.

might be a good excuse to wash the car and let it sit underground for a while.

That is.....if i get my engine put back together in time.

Better use your connections and rock some steelies just for the meet.
