not even sure what the free/cheap programs are.

 

A very nice program is Imovie HD but its on mac. It's very easy to use. If you can read you can make any video you want. A+ Program

Did you try a google search? They bring up some programs. hmmm my friend uses adobe premier. Adobe makes the best programs... Mite not be that cheep tho

final cut is way better than premier but premier is great for pc. but it's far frm the best.

yeah just the music is giving me a problem everytime i go over the file for the music, the computer thinks and then tells me it ran into a problem and says do you want to send the error or not and shuts the program down, anyone know why?

 

start with movie maker. it keeps things simple.

i enjoy using adobe premier, but the learning curve is STEEP

wvm is ok for a quickie and actually captures video pretty good thats what I used to capture my kingdom hearts videos. premier isn't cheap but it does an amazing job and you have an insane amount of control over your editing.

be careful that the file is higher than or equal to the bit level for sound on the video. Upconversion can cause issues with music files such as variable bit to constant or 256 from 128. You may have to convert the music file first

 

how do you do that? its in MP3 format already

 

i know in final cut, when i rip music off of a cd, or download it, they don't play right if you just dump them in. why? cd is 44.1 khz and digital/dvd is 48khz. so you have to convert it first, or it won't play properly. it will still play, but will "pop & skip" a little. so make sure that your audio is at the correct settings.

 

exactly the experience is basically a limitation on the editing software. down conversion is usually easier to correct but up conversion is normally not possible.

find out what sound settings are used for the video then convert the mp3 to that format

 

nah i used something else and i kinda like it haha, ill be done in about half an hour
