Guess who voided their warranty?

So I got my car back from the dealer today and when i went to pick it up the guy told me that I pretty much wont get any warranty in the future because my car is too heavily modified. They also apparently took a bunch of pictures of it all so that they know in the future that my car had all these mods.

I tought it was kinda funny actually.. the invoice says in bold "VEHICLE HAS EXCESSIVE AFTERMARKET MODIFICATIONS"

I'm guessing it was due to the electronics.

is that where they can only void it if they prove your mods caused the problem or something?

wow i'd go to a diff dealership. I have mostly all that, and my dealership says they don't care what I do to the car as long as I understand that anything aftermarket is my responsibility and if for example my head unit fries my stock pioneers, they wont cover it, you know?

Yes... unless they can prove your mod caused the problem they have to warranty it.. print it out and bring it with you

I doubt your LED's caused any damage ... there really isnt anything on your mod list that would cause an issue

I love it when people with cool dealerships get on here and can't figure out that they got lucky with the one cool GM dealership in a 1000 mile radius. For the most part GM dealerships are doing their job to keep GM's books in the black by frivelously voiding warranties and generally being dicks.
