$125 dual beam hid kit pics added 12-8-07, 56k = death

High and low beam HID's, better quality materials than some of my friends $300+ kits, for only $125 off ebay. really good quality stuff

here's a few pics of the kit i just took. the close ups of the connectors are a bit fuzzy, but you can see they were put together well. i will have pics of them installed tomorrow afternoon.

yep definitely. i hope they work as good as expected. cause i hate seeing people paying $200+ for the same quality stuff with low beams only.

the one that really kills me is how shops tell you not to buy that ebay crap cause it's made in china, but they want you to buy their hid kits that they bought in china and marked up $100

here's a link to the ebay set for our cars: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-H1...spagenameZWDVW

the seller's id is, "flashplus" but hold off before ordering any until i test these out man. if these suck i will definitely let you know. but, from the quality of the equipment, i will be extremely suprised if these are anything less that perfect.

i'm using the stock headlight housings.

<edit> also forgot to add, the seller says fast 3-5 day shipping... not true, these hid's are shipped directly from china, it will take 10 days or so to get them.

i got 6000k, i do ALOT of driving so i prefer to have a white light instead of the blue tint ones.

i really hope these work out well cause the single beam hid's are only $70 shipped, and i will sure as hell put a set of them in my fog lights too lol

oh yeah, the other cool thing is that these hi/low bulbs don't have 2 lights. the light itself is on a solenoid, and when you turn on the high beams, the solenoid activates and pushes the light out and up just enough to show as a high beam normally would.

i don't like those hid lights with two bulbs on one thing.

have you personally seen a set of hid's in the oem lights? if they end up looking bad i'll just buy a set of projectors BUT the only ones i've seen are those crappy ricers POS systems with 76 led's and 4 halos that look retarded as fsck.

If adjusted right they will not kill your eyes, but I see where your coming from due to the fact that most do not bother to adjust.

yeah i will definitely do my best to make sure they do not cause issues. and if there is no way to get around them i will just buy projectors. i will not run around dangerously blinding people with my headlights

Hey "Self"..
Looks like a LOT of folks are waiting to see what U have!!!! Me included! Did your kit come with the means to hook hot wire directly to battery (direct power source) and hopefully, its own relay?
Fill us in!!! We're waiting for your evaluation!!

Thanks...

yes it came with everything. i think the relay is that small black box in between the ballasts in the picture with the whole kit layed out, and came with fuses built into the battery wire

ok thanks for the info, i'll check these out then order a set of projectors if needed. those things are what, only like $200 shipped? do you recommend a specific model/brand of them to consider?

they are all the same brand, but keep in mind ur HID bulb u just bought will not work in a projector housing. u'll have to buy new blubs, in the size to fit ur projector. (depending on what ones u go with, they are h1 for the older projectors, and h7 for the newer projectors)

okie dokie guys here's the results, compared side by side

before i start, i would like to say that for some reason the high beams on the hid's are not working, i don't know if it's a faulty kit, OR if the bulbs are hitting that little shield inside the headlight, and not allowing them to move up.

low beam hallogens:

high beams from inside the car (halogen still)

*from here out, the driver's side is HID, the passenger's side is halogen. I did this so you could see without question what kind of difference on the glare each light produces.*
