All right everyone I need some help.

I'm looking to buy a set of cheap rims (just a pair (front 2) to put some slicks on for the track next spring/summer. I understand we have the 5x110 bolt pattern, and have heard the smallest rim that will fir on the SS S/C are 16".

I was hoping to do this in a cheap manner. Slicks are pretty cheap from what I’ve seen. You can pick up a set of slicks between 300-400 bucks.

What are my possibilities? I'm looking for 17" rims that will fit on the bolt.
I don’t know how tire sizes work. If someone could please explain what the numbers mean on tire designation codes it would help.

What’s the "most" tire I can get on the ground without it affecting anything and or rubbing?

I've been looking around for a while not, but before I buy something I want to make sure it will fit and work.

if ur gonna get drag rims go with 16's... less rotating mass and cheaper then 17 inch wheels
