Car is barely 4 months old and something is already broken

I was driving a brand new ss/sc and the ebrake was out.... I work at a dealer and its weird because it was the show room car before we moved it out....

you know, i hear about peoples e-brake malfuctionng but i park on a hill almost every night and i havent had a problem as of yet. *knock on wood* but what happened? it just let go and your car rolled? any damage?

No. I had just pulled into the garage and went to set the brake. No resistance at all. Im going to have to wait till Thursday to take it in since that is my next day off.

the cables might have just disconnected from the clip they attach too. take off your little rear cup holder and take a look. if you dont have two cables coming back up there in the clip that is what happened. easy fix

One of the cables snapped on my ebrake...Thank god I always park in gear though. I fixed it with duct tape lol!!!! Hey it works! But I make sure I always put it in gear when I park

i had that with my ss/sc pull apart the center consel the braket that pulls the cables is a P.O.S. but a easy fix

this happened to me the other day and it hit another car im going through this whole product alligation thing with gm trying get my front end fixed does any1 remember the red ss/sc with the bull emblem on the back something similiar happened to him
