I have alread started the teardown and to prep my car as best as I can. Kit should arrive Tuesday, so I may have a good chunk done before the end of the week. I'm just soooo impatient.

I don't think that it will be to hard to install a tarp at a campsite, there are trees. Just get some twine or small rope. I have LOTS of wood, just need to get it up there! :lol:
As for the weather its awful early to speculate this time of year, the forecast models do poorly after about 3-4 day out. As long as its not a "storm" i not to worried about a little rain.

Well my wife and I just got boards, boots, bindings, etc.... so we never been... I think were goin to try white pass and crystal.... my cousin boards at baker, but thats kinda a long drive for us especially since were beginners. crystal and white pass are both only like 1 to 2 hours away from us.
