take it to a dealer they should be able to scan the code for you for free.

no code came up? see if someone local has a code reader. mine works perfectly in the cobalt and was 100 dollars. got it from sears hardware.

for a temp fix, try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery. it should go away for a little while at least. test it out, see if it comes back. if it does come back, keep notes on how long it takes to come back. then if you have to do it in the lot as you pull up or something.

the dealer does it free, as long as u go with it being warranty thing, just go in, my check engine light is on, i dont know why, i did that they looked at it, said my old intake caused, it, they cleared it, and i was on my way, free of charge

ps-they do logg it, they get the paperwork and **** done, so it will go on record, best way it to know someone at the dealer so they can hook it up and look at it

ya and even if the light is out the code is still stored in your ECM's memory so they can get it either way. its better if it's on when you go in though.
