Sadly I don’t know anything about air ride suspension. Could someone start a separate informative thread on the subject? Is there an advantage over coilovers besides convenience?

or or less its just for show..you can rase or lower whatever wheel and tire at any moment as far as ajustibal suspensions go i always went by this

air ride/hydro's = show

coilovers = more performance orientated cars

the plus to bags over coilovers is the ride is more of a cadillac but still get the adjustable supension u want...and air is fully adjustable...my ride is way stiffer than my ssc springs.. and when it comes to dragging its way better than springs when u have the air in there u dont get the "sag" or body shift and lose momentom...same in corners because everyone knows san diego has the best canyons

not really when it comes to a 9 way dampening kit with strut bags..they are actually better than coilover imo..coilovers dont provide the same stiffness as compressed air

well yea true a normal air bag kit is wavier than a canoe in the tsunami a couple years ago...but if u get the right kit u can actually benifit alot from it from locking it up in the back for the drag strip to having a good center balance point for autox to everyday driving on air..literally

The prices shouldn't be an issue... they are LOW!!!

The full combo kit (digital or regular) will get you very low, as pictured on the car above. No additional mods or changes needed, besides the installation of the kit.

This GP will most likely run through January and possibly into February, as we collect potential buyers to meet the required #s... so that should help some of you "tax time" buyers

Any specific kit questions, let me know.

Let's put together a list of potential (serious) buyers, and see what we can get done.

i'd LOVE to have this setup... especially in my area. unfortunately i know NOTHING about air suspension, other than the obvious. If anyone starts that informative thread post a link in here, i'm def. subscribed. would love to find a way to weasel that money together.... lol

p.s. what is the digital option? something along these lines? (obviously not that whole kit...right?)

lol. that'd be a hell of a project for me. Unfortunately I lack a place and the tools to do such a thing. I really need a garage and money for tools and whatnot lol

Installation typically takes a couple guys 10-15 hours to do... these are weekend mechanic types, with basic garage tools.

The digital kit or digital upgrade just changes out some of the air management portion of the kit to allow for easier installation & ease of control of the kit.

The digital system is this one...

In place of this one on the regular kit...

for those scared too or are thinking in the old ways...these arent like normal bags under ur car from 7-8 years ago..these are 9 way dampening strut bags...ur handleing it going to be so much better than some coilovers and with a strut tower bar and other suspension mods u cant ask for more...

So an air suspension just replaces the struts... will i still need springs? Also what is the range of travel on this kit vs stock? What are the ride heights? assuming this will fit an 06 balt ss/na?
