The Billet Seat Brace is a new innovative part that will look amazing in your Cobalt! :cssNET:

The MRZ Performance seat braces are made out of High Strength 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum. They are CNC machined and hand brushed or polished to a mirror finish, you can get them in the finish of your choice. The unique design of this new part is made to fit perfectly on the headrest of your Chevrolet Cobalt or Pontiac G5. The seat brace is a 100% safe and will not affect any safety feature of your car. Easy to install in a minute, remove headrest, insert the MRZ Billet Seat Brace and put headrest back on seat, you're done!

Those billet seat braces are real eye catchers in car shows, these are perfect items to have a custom emblem engraved. You can have them with many different engravings (OEM emblems, MRZ emblem and custom emblems) or simply leave them plain. We can also anodize them in various colors.

The billet seat braces come in pair to fit both front seats. Approximate size is 1 1/2" x 1/2" x 6".

The brace is far from touching to the neck, if it would be close to toch it would be dangerous to use but the way the headrest is made, the rod from the hearest are far away from the neck to avoid any contact, the brace being installed at the same location, it is completely safe and you wont toch it for sure ;)

Those are very impressive. Is there anyway you would make ones for the pontiac g5.

We can make some for the G5 people for sure if we get enough interest for them... I'll get the the G5 forums in the next days to see what people think about them there :twothumbs

It may look high but it make the headrest at about the first click and you can also remove the seatbelt plastic guide with will remove about 1/2 inch from the height. Most people remove it to get a better access to rear passengers, it also look better without these IMO.

We have not tested them for the back but I'm pretty sure we can make some that fits there also, maybe thiner to not have the back headrest to high and cut the vision... we'll keep you posted when we have some done for the back ;)

looks great!

I'd like one which says "GT" in the stock GM font.

however I feel it's easily $15-20 too pricey for what it is...

it should cost less than the sills IMHO, I know it's good quality but still..

There is probably as much metal in them as in the sills so I can see the price justification.

That is an awesome idea Raven. I know I would like something like that cause my fiance can't keep the camera steady at all when I'm on and off the throttle...

I would want the head rest to be able to go all the way down though, or at least, mostly down.

As for all our other products, we can make custom emblems or any OEM emblems... just contact us via email at sales@mrzperformance.com or via PM over here ;)

These parts may seem pricey but there is a lot of CNC work involved in making them even if they are small parts and the finishing process can only be done by hand to get a perfect look. As people said, all metal prices have been rising out of control...

We'll get a group buy started on these pretty soon ;)

Is there any way you can make some for the back headrests for that length since we cant adjust those?

They cannot be made for the rear since the rods that hold the headrest are bent and the lower end making the seat brace impossible to slide in... Sorry about this :(

I guess the best thing would be to have sime kind of camara attachement or tripod to screw directly in the seat brace... if you guy have one of these thing we can help you out, just PM me if you want to realize this project :twothumbs

Would you be able to leave a piece extending out between the two seats, or make one that could screw in? I have a universal perch sitting around that I could send to you so that you could play around and try to figure out how to mount it to an aluminum arm. I'm sure we could figure something out. Let me know, I can PM you...
