I THOUGHT THERE WAS JUST AN LS LT AND SS MODEL... CAN SOME ONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT ALL THESE DIFF. THINGS ARE AND HOW MANY ARE THERE??

it's simple. "LSJ" is the engine code for the ss/sc
"L61" is the engine code for the ls

L61 is the engine that the LS, LT, Ltz use. Ls, lt, ltz are the trim levels of the base cobalts. SS is a cobalt with a 2.4 liter engine. SS sc has a 2.0 supercharged engine.

The upcoming SS Turbocharged comes with the 2.0L Turbocharged LNF Engine
SS Supercharged comes with the 2.0L Supercharged LSJ engine
SS comes with the 2.4L Naturally aspirated LE5 engine
All remaining LXX model cobalts come with the 2.2L Naturally aspirated L61 engine.
