Arrow Rk Sport Carbon Fiber Ram Air hood...

I know there have been posts about this hood before, but I wanted to see if anyone has them cheaper than rksports' website? I really like the hood, but $800+ is a little more than what I would like to pay.

http://www.rksport.com/product/p_12011005/view_detail

On another note, has anyone purchased the ' HyperVoltage System MR-S' from www.gravanatuning.com? If so, is it actually worth paying $170?

http://www.gravanatuning.com/applica...ge_System_MR_S

Thanks!

im interested in this as well, i think the hood costs so much since the aftermarket in that area is not up to par yet so they can charge as much as they want and that is a ridiculous price

try gravana tuning , or carcustoms.net

as having had a rk carbon fiber hood on my cavalier , the fit was great

BUT the finish quaility sucked a$$ , it had more air bubbles , than a fish tank , and they say air bubbles are normal , which is some major BS , ive seen APC hoods that had 200 times better finish , plus the hood i had dulled out in less than a year

That's not the carbon fiber one. If you really wanted to though you could buy that one and paint it black.

*sigh* It just wouldn't be the same...

I've got a 2k5 ultra silver and gun metal rims...so I was hoping to find a nice functional ram air c/f hood...at this point, rk sport is the only one to carry one...

I don't mind the double sided c/f hood gravana sells, but it doesn't have the ram air

I'm open to all ideas, so let em fly...

I stand corrected. :-) It just wasn't up on your site at the time of original posting. I actually spoke with Matt I think a few days ago about some parts I was looking for and he said you guys were adding more content for the cobalts at least by the end of January or so. Just keep us updated on new items showing up on your website :-)

I'm buying it, the trunk lid and a wing. I think it'll look real good on the yellow. I'm gonna get a B&M short shifter too. woohoo...I can't wait...

I think it's IPP that has another cf hood with functional ram air. It's designed to look like the late model Camaro SS ram air hood. Bulldog71ss has one. It has a pretty nice finish to it. And I don't think his has very many if any bubbles in it.
