How long do you warm up your car?

Ok guys hopefully there is no thread out there asking the same question I do not have this problem down here in south texas, but occasionally it does get cold over here. Just something i wanted to know for people who live in very intense winter places. When its very cold outside how long do u guys warm up you car?

If I'm not in a hurry, 5-10 minutes usually.

I let it get to 100 degrees and then I drive...I have heard this is a good way to prevent the cat from getting screwed up.

Whoa. I let it idle until the rpms drop. Usually like 15 seconds. I don't go over 3,000 rpm until the engine reaches ~195 degrees though.

above freezing, about 15-30 seconds then drive it nice till it gets over 60*c (about 140*f). bellow freezing i usualy start it, scrape windows and by that point its run for 2 minutes or so, so i drive it, again nicly till it warms up.

I get in, start the motor, find some music, relax for a bit, so about 3 to 5 mins. I wait until its fully warmed before I unleash my wrath on any civics tho.

Warming up a car for longer than a minute or two is pointless as you just waste gas.
