Should i lower it?
because i dont feel like spending my money for a mod that barely even shows a difference. Thats why ***. If you feel like im such an idiot for posting this then pay me the $250. Its a simple question yes or no, keep all other comments to yourself.
Dude take it easy,
We only here to help, and IMO you should lower it because it will make a huge difference and def. add to the look of your beautiful 2.4.
I recomend Sportlines or H&R Sport.

I say, Dumb question, dumb answer. Its all personal preference. Everyones opinion will differ...
Lowering it will make a difference, but If your broke a lot of the time I wouldn't. You never know when a strut or shock will go and if you don't have any money to fix it you cant drive your car. Then you don't have a car to get to a job to get money. Then you end up living in a cardboard box...
lol, did anybody ever read if you give a moose a muffin? Thats my baby brothers favorite book

I'm 18 making minimum plus some commissions and thats the only reason I haven't done any mods that run the risk of costing me money down the line...
Besides why do you need the opinions of other people? Its your car, do what you want.
(Unless its your moms, then she might get pissed

Wheres the option for jackin the car up so it looks like a Jeep? lol
Really to lower ur car u can do it pretty cheap if u do the install urself(Which really isnt that hard. Read the how-to's). I would say under $200 depending on what route u go. There is a really cheap way to lower ur car but I dont suggest doing it and im sure everyone else doesnt and u all know what im talkin about. If u dont know, here is a hint- Grinder-.
Lowering ur car does make a difference that is noticeable besides looks, it also helps with handling.
I kinda wish my SS/SC was white.. looks good.

Damn I'd like to lower my car with new coilovers but since I have to drive on unpaved road to go to the job, I just can't...I might hit big rocks and break something...Even now we're stuck with a deep water hole and I think I broke something...The rear lip is loosed on the left side...
Well, I thought my car resembled a dump truck more than a car before I lowered it. Now, even with Sportlines and 19"s, its stance isn't even half as good of that as my girlfriends '05 Tiburon, which is lowered on Tanabe DF210s and has 18" Enkei WDMs. So, while lowering will make it look drastically better (and more like a car instead of a truck, lol), you still might yearn for more like me.
Also, you mentioned the "$250" a lot. There's plenty of springs for a lot less than that, such as Zenn, Gold Line, Tenzo-R, and Sprint for example, all of which are under $175. I know the Gold Lines are good stuff, and are onl $125 even. My $250 are great, but really aren't worth that much IMO. Your just paying for the Eibach name.
Also, might I mention your car looks a lot like mine. My sig pic is old, and my SS now has a shorty antenna and tinted tails. But I have 19"s, not 18"s. I had 18"s for a bit and thought they looked too small w/ the lip, so I sold them and got the 19"s. But yeah man, keep up the good work, and def lower it.
Also, on a final note......not to sound rude, but you complain about "being 17 and making minimal wage"..........yet your drive a $20,000 car with wheels, an intake, exhaust, etc etc? Lol, I wish I had a car that nice when I was 17, and I was making $9.25 an hour when I was 17 and could no way afford such a car + insurance for it. My car when I was 17 was a $5,000 RX-7 that I bought myself working at Subway, so keep your chin up and don't complain about being broke when you have a car that nice at age 17, when most kids are driving hand me downs or beaters.

Dude, i wasn't tryna make you feel shitty, i even put 'lmao' at the end of what i said. You're the one who started the name callin n ****. No hard feelings, but when i read what u wrote, it seemed like you already had your mind set on what u wanted to do. At any rate, getting your car lowered comes with may factors that im sure you have already read. Road conditions to and from point A and point B. How comfortable you want your ride to be. **** like that. After you figure all of that, there is a thread that states which is best for you. Hope u get lucky and find what your looking for.
