I keep hearing different stories from different people.
When I bought my Cobalt, the in-store display said 3yr/36,000. When I was talking to the salesman, he showed me an updated brochure that said 5yr/50,000. However, when I signed the contract, it said 6yr/75,000.
I know a few people locally that say they only got the 3yr/36,000 when they bought theirs.
What gives? Can GM not make up their minds?

I think you got the extended warranty then, which means you paid more for it. I have 3 year/36,000

Warranty for the complete vehicle: 3 year/36,000 mile.
Warranty for Powertrain (Includes engine, transmission and related parts) 5 year/50,000 mile.

GMPP warranties come in a variety of flavors. Anywhere from 3yr/35k to 7yr/75k.
