Here is a GTR mustang 2005. If that was a 2000 Turbo mustang I would say it would be worth of a GTR badge. Honestly I think that the film is just a setup. That is not the cars owner....

Man that was an old body 2000 Mustang. Did they have GTR's back then?

It may have been a setup or it may be some ******* who doesnt know a thing about cars maybe the drivers brother, or the driver who had someone else do all teh work. More money then brains.
