View Full Version : GMPP Price Adjustments $$$

Well it’s that time of year again. Every January we run our price tapes and find that GM has made some drastic adjustments on pricing.

I was totally shocked to see that the GMPP Performance exhaust system went up over $160.00 in costs over what it was. I did some checking and bought out all the old stock that I could at the old price. I will be offering the old prices as long as inventory holds out.
If you were thinking of buying a GMPP exhaust system I would suggest buying it now as the price will be going way up soon.

I will also be going over the rest of GM's prices and I will update the members if I find anything as drastic as what they did with the exhaust systems.

So now the GMPP exhaust is going to be comparable to the Corsa in cost? Glad I got mine during your sale last year.

Is the price of the 2.4l intake manifold will be higher as well?

It shouldn't be affected because its not through GMPP. Its just an OEM part.

Gunna guess their excuse was because of the rising costs in steel?

Well so far I have been able to buy out just about everyones old price inventory on the exhaust systems.
I am running low on the Touring system though P/N 17802110 and only have 2 left at the old price. If you were thinking of ordering the Touring you have to do it now. After the 2 I have are gone I will have to raise the price to the current GM Pricing of $ 545.00

I still have plenty of the Performance (Sport) systems in stock and I will be able to keep those prices for a nother week or so. When I run out of those the price will also be going up to $ 545.00

That would be very accurate thinking . I go thu catalogs of supply chains I use at work and ANYTHING steel has risin dramatically over the last couple years , it sucks .

Thats really cool CED snatched up a bunch at the old price .

no.. not a good price.. and there is no gmpp intake for the 2.0... curious what they are planning on installing..

stage 2 = 600
gmpp catback = 550

=1,150... install time maybe 3-4 hours combined.. so i would say for sure no more than $1,500 for parts & install...

does the GM exhaust really put out 12 HP as it claims?

Probably on the 2.0L SC. Redline TV installed the GMPP Performance Exhaust on a 06 LS 2.2L w/SAI and got 8 HP on their dyno runs. Then they installed an Injen Intake and got another 7 HP for a total of 15 HP.

Charba951

that's still not bad for just an exhaust. And 15 HP is pretty damn good for just an exhaust and intake. Thanks for the reply.
