Carbon fiber SS/SC wing
fyi guys, they tend to crack and split, my buddy joeys went to peaces, and another member on here (a girl with a sliver ss/sc) hers cracked up also.... kinda sad they are pretty nice. i sent mine back before i even installed it because i didnt wanna deal with it cracking.
You have to make sure you dont over tighten them when installing them. I know for a fact me and 2 of my friends who had the wing never had issues of cracking. The wing doesnt flap in the wind unlike the stock insert.
But they can crack from like rocks and such....and also putting pressure on it

In my experience, the biggest problem with carbon fiber is that the clearcoat falls off. I have a bunch of carbon fiber on my Ducati, and it needs to be re-sprayed every 2-3 years. I think it's because the clear doesn't have enough bite, the way primer w/paint does. You could probably primer, then paint, and it would hold up. But that would defeat half the purpose of the upgrade, namely the "Look". Still, considerable weight savings for the "sleeper" effect.
