We have in our possession a 7th generation LSJ M62 supercharger with High Helix Technology. This is 1 of 7 made and was tested to make 20hp more the m62 currently on the LSJ engines with any given pulley size. We are going to offer this supercharger as a package. Included in this package is installation, custom dyno tune and the supercharger for a price of 1950.00 to the first person who pays.

We made these 2 pulls with the same pulley 1 hour between. The supercharger being the only difference. It showed a 1.5 lb increase in boost and the outlet temps were 14 degrees cooler.

looking at the max boost of the stock sc, it looks to me that it's a 2.8 pulley

In reality you'd just be paying for a blower with cooler outlet temps.

In reality you'd just be paying for a blower with cooler outlet temps.

Which according to thermo-dynamics affects air pressure, which is the whole purpose of FI.

Most serious inquiries have asked to sell just the blower. We have decided to let the blower go at $1500 + shipping but we STRONGLY recommend getting a tune done after installation and start with a larger pulley.

Well what is done to the blower?

If the difference is the rotors, let's see them.

Asking for $1500-$2000 without proof of anything being different is fishy. That dyno could have been from anything.

You had 5 or more extra sets of rotors for sale for awhile. Are you guys doing something with your extra rotors, throwing them in GenV cases, and calling it a new prototype Gen7 blower?

I believe that the blower itself has a four lobe setup versus the three lobe that the gen5 has. correct if I'm wrong though.

We did not bulid this blower, it was given to us from Eaton as a prototype Gen 7. We did not open it so I can't show you beyond the pictures we supplied. The blower is still sealed as it was from Eaton (you can see the marker marks on all the bolts in the pictures). We can tell you that per pulley size it made about 2-3 psi more than the gen V. This results in more boost at a larger pulley size meaning less heat and less parasitic loss as it doesnt have to spin the blower as fast to make the same power.

All of our extra rotors are from new blowers we had to purchase in order to get cores for the ported blower housings and machined snouts we sell and I really don't appreciate all the accustory posts trying to smear us. We are offering an item that was given to us from Eaton to see if we wanted to move forward with having them produced. At the time the money amount to get production rolling was more than we were willing to spend which is why we never offered these. Now we are cleaning house and moving some items that have been sitting around the shop for a while at a pretty good price and all we get is grief.

This info was posted in the other thread.

This blower is 1 of 7 that Eaton made as a prototype. I believe it is very similar to the hybrid unit used on the time attack Cobalt. It has almost no miles on it (dyno testing only). The markings on it are directly from Eaton and we were instructed "not to open it or change anything on it" which is why the snout was not ground down for use with a smaller pulley.

Because Time Attack challenges involve multiple runs, the engine must be powerful and durable. The Time Attack Cobalt SS Supercharged coupe’s Stage 2+ Ecotec engine is certainly up to that challenge. Developed by GM Performance Division and GM Powertrain, it features an Eaton M-62 Gen 5 Hybrid supercharger and delivers 264 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 230 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. When nitrous boost is added, performance jumps to 344 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 350 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm.

Thats more like it! All I wanted was some proof.

Asking for two thousand dollars, without a post like the one you just made. I'd hope that would raise some questions.

If you're last post was your first post, even I might have considered purchasing.
