So the other day my friend calls me and tells me he has a set of BMW M3 projectors, with hids, complete with all the wiring and ballasts and everything. He was going to give them to me but decided he wanted to keep them for himself for his own retrofit. So he calls me again today and tells me he got another set of high and low beam projectors, but they use halogen bulbs. He gave em to me for free and im going to do my own projector retrofit. The only thing is I need to buy an hid kit. Kind of not what i wanted to do but im sure it will look good anyways.
The projectors are out of a Mercury Cougar unknown year.
So now the retrofit begins.

Does anyone who has done the swap have any advice for me. im not in a rush to finish it and i only plan on working on them a few times a week when i dont have any work or school.

Here are the projectors i plan on using, im only going to use the low beams i have yet to dissassemble the two.

Can u take a pic of the inside of the low beam projector . The part Im talking about is the reflector bowl . Ive never actually seen how a halogen projector differs from a HID spec unit . From what I can see theres no sheilds at all . You can possibly make these really hid friendly by adding Z pattern sheilds to the low beams .

Since mercury doesnt have his Cobalt anymore , you should do the C6 style light he was gonna do with his . I still think that would look pretty badass .
