I have the DC Sports 2.5" cat-back....and I LOVE how it sounds. It is a little loud, but not bad, but it is nice and deep

if you use the search button you can find clips of different exhausts and then you can choose which one you think is the least rice the only thing i can suggest is no 3" pipes for stage 2 or less hp

go to crateenginedepot, find the gmpp touring exhaust, they have a sound clip of it.

You will not look any further.

I just wanted to try out powershifting on that pass and see how it would react.

Wow, nobody has said it yet? VIBRANT! AND it's a 3 inch! BUT it is loud, that's for sure. NOT ricey though (Megan/Ark come to mind...)

Second to VIBRANT () I would say the GMPP Touring. BUT why get that when you can get the Vibrant?

^^depending on the mods he has or is going to get a 3" may not be worth it.. infact he might lose power

That is not true... we have been over this time and again in other threads; at most he may lose some low end torque but will gain upper end hp. It also gives you much more room to grow!

Just whatever you do use resonators. The exhaust shop might try and tell you the resonators won't make a difference, but it made a huge difference for me. I have the ZZP header, ZZP 3" dp, and just 2.5" catback, with a 22" magnaflow resonator and a 12" magnaflow resonated tip.

lol.... true we have been over this... but my point is that if all he will have is some simple mods... then there is no reason for a 3" but to each their own because IMO i dont think that a gain up top is that much better than a gain down low...

a 4-banger will sound ricey no matter what. but try going to a custom exhaust shop and get an estimate. some places will give you a much better price for the same thing that most places want 5 to 8 hundred dollars for.

I am still the only Vibrant voter LOL! But hey, that's cool, that just means I will be that much more unique when I finally get it haha. But seriously man, they are all good exhausts, in one way or another. Just gotta find the right one for you.
