maybe i should have read the article before i commented. if he was planning on a big build, and wanted to see the breaking points and whatnot then that's different.

I think it was a 300 shot and 24 PSI that finally blew it up. He did it on purpose to see what the weak points of the motor are, and I would say he did a amazing job doing so...

But can you imagine the power he had before that thing went? Holey S#it!

damn it was a 300shot non progressive and 24psi... that's ******* crazy, and the damn pistons are still good. **** maybe i'll be buying an LNF cobalt after all, but I'm still keeping mine

I think that's awesome. Everyone is always wondering how much the stock engines will take and I guess we found out.I think probably progressive nos would have helped.

no..warranty was thrown straight out the window when he hooked up the aftermarket crap to the turbo and the NO2....the rebuild is out of pocket....the failure was caused by aftermarket and not stock setup so that is a total void of the warranty...read the original post on the solstice forum lol
