Another post about a possible blown piston :(

So I always hear this puff puff coming from my exahust, I think its a miss..I got a random misfire code all the time...If you hold a piece of paper up to the the tip of the exhaust it will actually suck the paper in when puffs...My car runs perfect though up to 7000, sometimes it misses up top but nothing major...if I had a bad piston ring or ringland wouldnt it run like crap and smoke a lot...

.025??? Check your coils or something. That gap sounds very tight.

I think you need to do a compression test and see if its bad news....

but considering the track record with this guys tunes lately....it doesnt look good....
.25 gap is insanely small.

should be 180.

but with you having a consistent 150, the tool might be off, DA can have an effect, ect.

eaither your down on all cylinders or you're alright.

Internals are fine then, check ignition system. Plugs should be around .035 and running great! Get a new tune maybe.

sounds to me like something similar that happened here.
Some people have an interesting method of tuning using much smaller gaps.
so far ive seen it pop two engines, and run HORRIBLE amounts of knock no matter what they do.

I would strongly suggest you get a basic 60lb 2.8 tune from someone, and get that gap up into the 0.33-0.37 range where it should be, and go from there.

yeah true enough.

make sure you tell them everything thats gone on.
and get those gaps up to about 0.35ish for the dyno tune. otherwise they will have the same issues tuning it.

Damn, I'm sure Paul's tune would solve your issues too. I have an awesome tune for your setup as well, but since you don't have HPTuners you're sort of SOL.

This is why people shouldn't buy HPTuners unless they know what the hell they are doing! You are holding someone's property in jeopardy!
