Ok this may sound far out, but here i go.
The stock airbox has that intake on it. I am thinking possibly get a hood with hoodscoop, then run some tubing or piping down to the airbox to connect it.
Any thoughts ideas?
Also thought of taking out fog lamps to make ram air
Constructive critism is welcome,

just throw a new pulley on it. a ram air is kinda pointless on a blown engine.

I think it is a good idea. I should help you to increase you flow rate into the SC. It might also put less drag on the inlet side of the SC. You might get around 8 hp given a good filter. Most of the gains will be with the filter though. So with all of that said it might not be worth you money to do this mod for the little gains you get but I could be wrong.

haha, yeah man i have some thoughts......, take a look at a cavalier ram air hood and how they are set up....... the airbox is in the same location as ours, well not in the fender, but in that same corner...... I would mold a scoop onto the fenders, cut the one out, nothing rediculous, if i had photo shop i could help you out a little better with what im saying, and to the guy that said a ram air is useless, the cooler the air the better, even where our filters are in the fender, there is still heat soak.....

Ram air will gain you no performance gains on a blown engine, it gains you virtually nothing on a NA engine...the Concept 272 had one for looks and styling.

I would think a scoop in front of the left wheel would be better than a hood scoop if you aren't going to duct it.

I would be concerned with water finding its way under the hood through the ram air....is that something that could actually happen or no?

The best thing about a ram intake is it will funcion more like a cold air and pull in cooler outside air. You do not have to worry about sucking water in because that is only a problem when the entire fiter is submerged in water.

Either way I don't really think it's worth messing with.

I've already scraped my air dam twice. I would have that thing knocked off or bent since it's metal
