well my friend drives a base cobalt and she graduated early so she got some pics of our cars together on her last day....she said our cars were goin out lol

Funny thing is, is when my girlfriend was going to get her car (well, her parents were buying it for her), she was either going to get a slightly used '05 Tiburon SE V6 6-speed (only 8k on it) or a new '06 2.4SS (I had introduced her to the car.....at the time I want a sunburst orange SS/SC). Anywho, she ended up getting the Tiburon, as it was her first choice (the 2.4SS was a backup car choice simply b/c her parents weren't thrilled at the Tiburon's blindspots at first). So anywho, warp ahead a little bit, and I'm selling my RX-7 and my M3, and looking to get somthing a bit more practical and reliable. At this point in time, a bunch of people out here where I live had already scooped up orange SS/SC's, so I no longer wanted one. Instead, I wanted either a Mini Cooper S, a Turbo Beetle S, or a new bodystyle Miata. Well, my parents were against all 3 cars (the Mini and the Miata were "deathtraps" according to my mom, and my dad refused to co-sign on a car as "gay" as a Beetle, lol), so I was back to square one. I remembered back how much I liked the 2.4SS when I was giving my girlfriend options for cars, so I browed this forum, as well as CarDomain a bit for more info and for pics. Well, I found the first white 2.4SS I had ever seen on CarDomain (its TwiztedTravis's car), and I was instantly sold on it. A few weeks later I went to the dealership, my parents agreed to co-sign on it as it wasn't a "deathtrap" or "gay", and voila, I became a 2.4SS owner.
But yeah, I guess the point of this story was me and my girlfriend almost ended up with the same car.
