Lingenfelter

I got bored the other day and figured I'd email Lingenfelter and see if they had any plans for our cars. Well, today I got a reply..

Frank,

Thank you for your interest in Lingenfelter and our packages. We are considering this vehicle for upgrades and may have some products in the near future.

Thank you,

Hello,

I own a Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged and I was curious if your company had any plans to make any products for these automobiles.

Thanks,

Frank
I think we should 'encourage them a little more'
I'd love to see Lingenfelter come out with something.

Hmm..That would be pretty cool. As long as it's not a flop like the Saleen Focus!

Let's all send mail to Lingenfelter! We're always doing group buys, Why not Group Mailings?

I just sent mine!

Had a buddy with a Viper. He took it to Lingenfelter and spent $65k. It's awesome....has 600hp to the wheels. It does well over 200mph. He used to take it to gainsville 1/4 mile strip and run it. I think he was in the 9's. I don't remember the exact time.

Do you?

I could fill 3 pages of how you dont from 1st hand experience with a 2000 corvette , one of my good friends fathers car . Lingenfelter Im sure does put out some damn good cars , but they must have forgot how to work on a car when the said 2000 vette was worked on . Long story short . 2000 Corvette a4 . Lingenfelter did .....heads , cam , pcm tune , magnuson roots blower , and a 3000 stall converter . In Lingenfelter labor dollars , thats a HUGE pile of cash . Best stock ET 12.99@109 . Best et with the above mods 13.26@112 . The car was sent back SEVERAL times and the lack of performance was never solved . After MUCH hassle , the vette was returned back to stock by lingenfelter and I am not sure how much money he got back ...I know he didnt get it all back .

I wont ever deal with them again for my F-bodies . I never did anyways because they are ALOT more expensive for parts that may be equal to but ARENT better than the competition .

Texas Speed and Performance saved the day on this corvette .

Yeah there was something definately wrong there. Their engine packages seem good but their other parts don't impress me in any way and I belive they are way over priced. I'm going to stay in my price range to get my performance.

your correct, it was done by hennessy ...Lingenfelter does GM.....
the viper was in Jacksonville...blue with white racing stripes and had all kinds of crap on it. Had this sparkle paint and a lambo bull on it. He had a Dodge Ram just like it he used to pull it on a trailer. Nice guy, rich guy...horrible taste

thanks for keeping me grounded Nate
