so my h/d combo came and i payed for a 304 stainless dp but i think it isnt..how can i tell if it is stainless or not...it looks raw like i can see the colaration from welds ext...i thought it would have been cromed or something..any info would help..thanks..

it you can see like an "anodized" look to the metal where it's welded and it looks raw it should be stainless.. having it chromed or the standard " brushed" look isn't how it naturaly looks

 

Yep, if it's natural finish, it should look like this:

 

i think if it is stainless a magnet wont attract to it so see if a magnet sticks to it but dont quote me on that

 

yah my dad said the same thing about the magnet...i guess ill try that
