Question for you everything I have read says that the Sway Bar kit does not fit the SS. I was curious as to all of a sudden it does fit?

Are they for the SS or SS/SC? Two different suspensions. FE3 vs.FE5.

Turbotech racing had a note that said it won't fit the SS. But I really don't know because the Eibach site doesn't have anything listed.

whats the stock specs of stock swaybars for non ss s/c models. just curious. I know in my cav i went from having no rear to a nice 22mm rear, and it made a HUGE difference. swaybars and strutbars are a must have, also upgraded bushings..

hey you guys should hurry up w/ a poly bushing kit for the cobalt that will help alot as well.

I guess I should have specified, "Yes" they are different packages and part numbers from the LS-LT to the SS.

But we are taking pre-orders for both and should be in our hands in January (Though no exact date has been set)

Thanks,

Jim

Until the parts land on our dock.

I like to run the pre order as long as I can.

I will anounce when they get here and the next day they will no longer be up for the pre-sale price.

For a description checkout:

Anti-Sway Bars

Sorry, not my intention to jack a thread or anything. This is just the only description that I've seen. (This link is for the 2.2 Coupe Base)

I looked at a different description with a little different blurb about em which made them sound adjustable, but looking at that pic/description it doesn't look like they are. I'll wait for something else to come out.

You can install them if you have done any suspension work like putting in new springs but if your not handy working on your car then i would suggest you have a shop do it. A sway bar is like having a Strut Bar but on the lower portion of your suspension. It further reduces body roll, A LOT more than a Strut Bar. Which by reducing body roll it increases handling and cornering grip by keeping the tires on the pavement. Definately worth the money especially if you have the Pro-Kit or Sportlines. According to Eibach's website they say the Anti-Roll Kit and Pro-Kit/Sportlines are designed to work together giving you the best performance out of your suspension

so with the full anti-sway setup is the strut bar even needed or will it add a little more control doing both.

Does anyone have a rear strut/shock tower bar? I saw a pic somewhere of one in the trunk on a different car.

I don't see a point in a replacement front bar on the SS unless the rear replacement stiffens the rear up A LOT. I'd like a rear bar only.
