xenon headlights Toronto

I live in Toronto and I was wondering were I can buy a good set of xenon headlights. Or lights that look like them?? More so, is installation easy? How do I remove the headlight cover on my cobalt?

Any tips on headlights or brands would be great!

Thanks

-Cy

Have fun with that. Its not hard, but tricky!! I dont know how, but from everyone else telling me about it... it sounds difficult.

Should give you an idea of pricing and maybe a little 'how-to' knowledge. The bulb size for the base cobalt is 9007 and is only available in the single beam HID kit. I currently have the kit sitting in my room, but haven't had time to install due to bad weather and garage availability.

Its a pain to install new headlight bulbs you have remove the whole headlight to gain access. Grr ! The original bulbs are weak ive been wanting to get 5800k or 7000k bulbs. Last resort going to the dealership to get them installed.....

It wasn't too terrible for me. I mean, yes, I did have to remove the headlight, but it is only 2 bolts. Once the headlight is out, twist off the cap over the bulb and hookup the connector for the new HID's. Then mount the ballast in a safe place and re-install headlight.

Just don't get one of those HID plug & play kits. They are dangerous and illegal for street use. See any one of the other HID threads for arguments.

Your options for (good) new lighting:
1. Aftermarket 9007 filament bulb, ie. Philips Silverstar, more luminous output, whiter color, but severely short lifetime (only 60 hours).
2. Doing a projector retrofit, which requires lots of planning, knowhow, and skill. See Mercury's thread on his HID retrofit.
3. One of those ugly Ebay aftermarket headlamps. You can search for these and decide for yourself if you really want them.
