I raced a 1999 ish bmw M3 tonight. im stock with an intake and he had a stage 1 reflash. gives him a 18+ horsepower. So we line up and he starts beeping at 30mph. so we go and were dead even. so we go again. 2nd 3rd i pulled by a fender and then 4th he start to catch up then i let off. i thought i was gonna get owned. but the ss held up 2 the rep.

yeah even the 260 HP 3.2 liter i6 is nasty in the m3..my older bro had one.. a 98 m3 coupe.. and my stage 2 IRL would jus barely pull away from a roll and keep pulling with every gear. and id catch him from a dig even tho he would pull a car on the launch.. funny thing is a g35 that was dead even with him had no chance aginst my IRL.. the IRL i had was stage 2 with every bolt on except header/DP combo.. do your self a favor and dont race an E46 m3 with SMG.. cause i got raped hard stock tune and once stage 2 was in it was under a car loss for the IRL. even with SMM's which give you WAY more torque than stock..
