for those of you that have carbon fibre hoods ,especially the ones that are vented. i need to know . . . do you get alot of water in the engine department when it rains? do you notice the engine runs cooler with it vented and have you had any water damage to the engine or components?

well i dont have a vented hood but i know my buddies with sti's and srt-4's do. they get water in the engine, but it's minimal. it hasn't damaged anything for them. if it was an ongoing problem i would assume there would be alot of warnings and they wouldn't make such a wide variety. just my 2 cents.

 

i was wondering about belt squeal or slipping. most of thoe hoods are vented at the front deep so i was curious if there was any serious puddles in the engine area lol.

dude...rk sport...FTMFW! its slick. the cf ones are nasty. or get the one anom0lus has...thats aggressive as hell too! or make ur own like what im gonna do this summer. 200 bucks beats paying 700. ya know?

 

most come with a removable catch pan that diverts the water and is optional to leave on.

also, side note, i been trying to contact u people bc i want the ss side towers. not the center blade...just the towers. how much wud that roughly be donna?

 

i have the invader, shouldnt worry about water damage.
