To be honest, i just started with the simple bolt ons, intake (1st) catback(2nd) stg 2,ingalls, header, tune, and so on. i dont have alot of mods...but this summer i plan on going to the bigger and better things. IMO i think the intake will put a smile on your face...if u have a ss/sc.

well the first question is how worried about your warranty are you? if you arent worried about the warranty or you are sure that the dealership you work with wont bust your warranty then you can do alot more for cheaper then if you are scared of losing it.

its smaller, it will add more boost 1lb for .1 inches o nthe puller, its just over an inch shorter, should add about 1.5 psi, they are also usually lighter, allowing it to spin easier, making accelleration more responsive.

no, the intake manifold stays, unless you swap your s/c for a turbo. its the big hunk of aluminum that the s/c is mounted on.

i would grab a 2.9, or 2.8" pulley ($60) and pick up 15whp. then i would grab a header and downpipe, and mate it to a catback exhaust (roughly$1000) and pick up another 20-27whp (depending on altitude, and weather conditions)

if you intend to gain more than 100whp over stock, i suggest you stop buying mods now, and save for the hahn racecraft (mitsubishi super 20g) turbocharger swap
also a decent set of lowering springs is always a nice mod (www.zzperformance.com) about $160 if i remember correctly.

your pully is..umm.. 3.2 inches across i think, a 2.9 pully is 2.9 inches across... so it would spin the supercharger faster.. but its a small enough jump that you could get away with it without having to retune your car (the stage 2 tune from GM is very fuel rich)

Actually they been eating noobs up all day...I've been on here watching them, lol...i.e. a guy on here earleir asking about a BOV set up for our cars that a guy on redline forums had....

k, if you have a stage 2, intake, and exhaust...get a header/ dp combo bc I'm assuming you have only a catback system....then, get poly filled mounts (engine and tranny) to help get that power to the ground....then, get a custom tune...which will have you making substantial power and you'll probably want to upgrade your clutch/ flywheel...even if its not slipping...u'll be able to launch much higher with an aftermarket clutch thus better times bc you in your powerband and you'll rev up quicker with a lighter flywheel.......

p.s. don't forget cooling mods along the way or the power your making will just get robbed by the heat build up (heat exchanger, dual pass ic end plate w/ option b....use the search button on those), and get a good wideband air/ fuel meter to make sure you don't run lean up top.......

the mounts i mentioned eliminate the wheel hop your feeling

you could upgrade your injectors to 60 pnd/ hr then tune that with a smaller pulley to get more power...but I get the mounts and stuff go get your extra power out of the set up you already have....and I'd have someone re tune that....just make sure you have the cooling mods and that you have the wideband meter

www.zzperformance.com was always my favorite vendor when i was a cobalt driver (i was running mid 13s with only zzp products)
http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...4&search_type=

a good rule of thumb to remember is that for every 1psi you add, you will gain 7% hp.
also, for every 10*F you lower the IAT temps, you will gain 1% hp.
PSI=Pounds per Square Inch
IAT=Intake Air Temperature (the temp of the air before it hits the supercharger and gets compressed)

you add PSI by buying smaller pullies

also, you lower air temps by buying the gm performance duall pass end plate(option B)
and/or the www.cobalt-addiction.com upgraded heat exchanger

good luck to ya man.

zzp is a vendor of css.net, therefore, no spaces are needed.. (just for future reference)
