Think I have a spark plug problem
Alright guys, I need some opinions. I think I fouled a spark plug tonight. I was driving in the rain, and it was pretty bad, especially with standing water. Here is my diagnosis.
1. Idle is fine
2. 1st through 2nd gear no problems.
3. Going from 2nd to 3rd it hickups, and then when you give more than half throttle over 4000 RPM, it misfires like an SOB. This is the same from 3rd to 4th too.
I have a 2.0 with an intake and an exhaust.
Thanks guys!!!

if its like i said water in the intake..it'll happen everytime it rains unless you try the injen hydroshield....which is supposed to be put over the filter and repells water but still lets air through....or if you have the aem you can buy their bypass....

Sounds like an intake problem not a spark plug problem....my intake has gotten water in it during heavy down pour and that was the result.......

Have had that happen a few times. I used to get happy with my KDWs and do full out runs in the rain, well all that boost was sucking water into the air filter, resulting in a lack of power and really crappy throttle response until I let the car sit and dry out. Now, I have no fog light on the drivers side, so I don't drive hard in the rain at all.
