Possibly stupid, but important Question

I've read on here about people getting pulley's, I've read about people getting hubs. If I move to a 2.9 inch pulley... do i need a new hub. If so, where do I get one and what size/type do I need?

Most pulleys are made to fit the gm hub. so, you shouldn't need a new one.

ok, next question. Which one do I need? I know machined and polished are personal preference, but do i need the pulley system or the individual pulley... and will I need to order the 4 screws or will the ones I take off the S2 pulley transfer to the 2.9?

you just need the pulley if you are going with the 2.9, the screws will transfer but the ones nate sells are just a lil more convienent to use...

Since you've already got the GM stage 2 system you'll just need the pulley, and like OverbooSSt said your stage 2 bolts will work, but the stainless steel cap screws are MUCH less likely to get stripped out. Also, removing the blue GM security bolts may strip destroy them so the stainless steel cap screws are generally a good choice to ensure that when it's all said and done you'll have good bolts to use to install the new pulley.

Hope this helps,
Nate

**well, sorta, the g/f wants to buy it for my birthday(march) since it's a relatively cheap mod.
