I have a PLX Wideband O2 Module and sensor.

What I need to know is if I can replace my stock O2 sensor with the WB one since it has a 0 -1 v output as well as the 0 - 5 v output.

Would this make a big difference in the car?

It will not work, the PLX is not able to correctly simulate the narrowband at least for this car, didnt work in my cav either, the car will start up fine then about 30 sec later the AFR drops and it falls flat on its face

I told all this to PLX and they were pretty useless in figuring it out.

Save yourself the trouble and get a 2nd bung put in

Actually now that I think about it. I read somewhere that some cars use 0.5v to 1.5v for their O2 sensor....maybe thats the problem?

 

possibly, all i can tell you is that i tried this a few months ago and it was a total failure

on the other forum that I post on they said the narrowband is 0-1v

If I wire up the resistor to the heater wire properly and feed the NB input into my ECU it should work.

I am going to at least try it one weekend if the cost of a bung is high. Otherwise I'll just get the bung.
