removing shift knob

i was just wondering if it was possible to just replace the shift knob alone... since my 07 ss/sc has the little lock that u have to pull up to shift to reverse? i want to change my knob only... if anyone knows or has done it pics and instructions would help....

you can put an aftermarket know if you want, but it will look purrty dumb with the reverse lock out still on there, you will have to keep extra space between the knob and the lockout mechanism so you have enough room to pull it up... you might as well just take the reverse lockout off or leave the stock knob.

sparco glob x knob has space under for the reverse lock out. If you take the reverse lockout off you have to hunt for 5'th not really a big deal. I cut my stocker down and ditched the lock out .
