anyone familiar with custom exhaust check this out

just wondering what an exhaust shop might charge to create a pipe similar to this one:

yes i borrowed that from the hahn thread

only reson im asking is because i want to try and get a feel for what it might run me...im hoping that small bit of pipe work wont cost more than 300...but i know itl be abit expensive to do because of labor(besides the shop owners friends with my dad and he installed my exhaust a while back for 80...so im hoping i can get a bit of a break) but yea just curious so if anyone migh have an idea let me know what you think

they usually just charge by how many bends and the diameter of the pipe. so i would say not much

yea if it's going to be as much to get a whole new DP made then just swap out the dp so you don't have to mess with things if you decide to change routes

I just got my downpipe made yesterday for the turbo. It cost me $270cnd for the labour, bolts and flexpipe. The flex pipe didn't come in in time so he has to weld it in for me this week. They are a shop that my shop deals with so I got a bit of a break. He butt welded the mandral bends together and put the two O2 bungs in. It only has two bends, the first one at the turbo is a 90 degree, 2 1/2" piece and then right to 3" and then a 45 degree bend and back.

That's what I should be doing lol. But it seems like when I save something comes up and the money gets spent on something else. Gonna try to save up and pull the engine next winter to do the internals and upgrade to a tubular manifold as well. That is if I don't blow it up by then

So in your opinion, how much quicker spool up would a manifold like yours have?
