okay, but i don't wanna use my oven. i was heavily considering painting my headlights. but if i mess up, then what? ya know? n the only place open is super walmart n thats like, 20 mins away, and its super cold out! lol. i have paint that i use for my interior that is almost an identical white, or i cud get the duplicolor, but, idk. we'll see. how long does it take to take everything apart n start to paint and re-assemble?

that IDK.. but i bet the longest part is the paint drying.. and IIRC to get the headlight apart you bake it anyway to get the glue to soften.. not sure on this tho.. PM hackabuse i guess. wish i could be of more help..

Why not use the oven? It doesn't smell.

I stuck mine in for about 15-20 mins at 225.

Then carefully pry it apart and be gentle on the tabs.

I masked off the chrome rings but you can do it anyway you want.

try not to get any glue on the insert, if you do, just scrape/sand it off.

then when you're done painting pop it back in the oven to heat up the left over glue and scrape as much as you can off, i used a box cutter.

repeat for the other light, then put em back together and silicone!

did it!

also, my brother wore my clutch heavily. thinking he was a badass outta school rippin outta the parking lot like the dumb ricer he is with my car. all the 14 yr old girls like the way my car sounds with the intake. so, i needed a new clutch. i liked the stage 2+ and i'm goin for a 300-ish whp build in a couple years, so, y not get the clutch now when i had the money? ya know?
