question about my ss supercharge

Hi i jsut purchased my cobalt ss supercharge with 14,xxx miles on it and i would like to know if this is normal.......when i boost it hard, and get near the red line and shift it seems to stay in the previous gear until i let it come down,is this a normal thing because it is making it hard for me to power shift

Sounds like clutch slip 101.. previous owner probably beat the **** out of it and or didn't know how to drive. Time for a new clutch!

its not a constant thing i dont power shift everytime people get on it once in awhile and i havent even put 100miles on it so i dont think that would be the problem

i find powershifting to be extremely stupid..specialy if all u do is mash it into the next gear at like 6400 rpm or something like what you're doing..its not ment to do that..or am i wrong

power shifting is when you dont let off the gas right?? the way i do it is im WOT come off gas clutch change gear and let go out clutch and press gas at same time, this all happens maybe in less than a second, am i going to mess anything up or is that how you do it?
