I recently bought new wheels for the summer, however it is winter right now. I just got them delivered today am wondering how I should store and clean them. My dad picked up ArmorAll Wheel Cleaner spray today, will this work ok? Just don't want it to ruin the gunmetal finish.

These will be stored outside in a shed. What is the best way I should cover them? Are there zipper bags that I can buy somewhere that fit around the wheel? I have this heavy duty plastic I could just cut to fit and wrap that around the wheels if that would be ok. The wheels also have tires on them too, should they be deflated or doesn't it matter.

I usually have a summer set of rims when I owned trucks....Just clean them up and make sure you leave no water on them and put them in the shed. That was all I did and I never had a problem. I never put armor all on them while in storage. Really don't think you need to because they are new tires. As far as covering them, you can stack them and throw a blanket over them but the worst that is goning to happen if you don't is they are going to get dusty.....ooooooo. Just wash them in the spring. I love to take care of my things and this was all I did.

What kind of rims did you get. Do you have an SS/SC? I was also looking for a gunmetal set of wheels. :twothumbs

I got a 2.4 SS. But I recently damaged 2 of my stock 17" wheels due to a curb incident. So now I use these as my winter wheels. I found a good deal on a pair of stock 18" S/C gunmetals, so I grabbed them and figure I will use these when spring comes back. Only had 60 miles on them.
