Interior Neon Accent Lighting

So I finally got time to do my interior lighting project. First time i've really wired anything and im really pleased with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy, if you have any questions, let me know.

Sorry for the same angle but I've still go to adjust the one on the driver's side haha it looks like ass because you can see the tube.

you use neons or LED's. Id use LED's they are 10x more brighter

I used neons and actually they are a little brighter at night, but i wasnt going for something really noticeable. I wanted something subtle like this and as a first project it went great. Seriously though I couldn't figure out how to get a good shot with my camera, Im sure i could make it look better, but the lights are a little brighter than they appear here.

Installation went really well and after buying the parts it only cost me just under $32 for the entire project. LED's would have been too bright for what i was going for. Like I said this is subtle enough to have on all the time at night and not be distracting at all. I got exactly what i wanted out of this .

ya leds are brighter and don't take as long to warm up to their true color. the neons aren't as bright and they take a while to heat up.

Agreed. Personally Im not a fan of underglow neons on my car but I do think they look fine in some cases and I agree purple/black is a nice color scheme.

Also, I know LED's are the better light source, however for the application I was looking for these went perfect. A buddy of mine used LED's in his sentra and personally i thought it was a little too bright for driving with and I didnt care for distractions. I also don't really want it to be noticeable that im lit up on the inside as i think the subtle look goes a long way .
