Stage II install cost in OH?

Where did everyone get their Stage II installed in NE Ohio? Serpentini quoted $450. (and $750 for either of the GMPP exhausts )

Do you want stage 2(warranty), or a 2.8 and 42# injectors with a custom toon?

I'm going to get Stage II. I though about going the custom route. But I'll stick with Stage II for now. The dealership can be anywhere around Cleveland or Youngstown.

I called a ton of dealerships. I'll post up all their quotes when I get a chance. Prices range from $150 to $550+!

forget the gm stage 2 package, ill sell you my stage 2 injectors and 2.9 zzp pulley. its by far cheaper and better and the stage 2 gm tune is horrible! i NEVER had my dealer not give me warrenty parts when i went in (light bulbs, shifter, brake lights, cargo net broke.. yotta yotta.. we only have 35k warrenty...and if your engine does does, which the chances of that happening are smaller than winning the lottery jsut put your stock stuff on. gm is a company to make money!! thats why they charge you out the ass for the same thing bc they know people will buy it to keep a crappy 35k warrenty. i have a house in cleveland i can help you with any install you need and tuning. and forget the gmpp exhaust its only 2.25" piping people, gm should of had that on the ss/sc in production but they know people will buy it and they do!! i dont want to bust gm i love them to death and all american companies but there products arent the best and theyre trying to make a buck just like everyone else.

A.) you wont have warrenty problems with something else
B.) your only limited to what gm tells you what you can do with your own car
C.) youll save loads of money for even more hp and tq
D.) youll actually run constant 13s if you oput that other money that you would give gm into other aftermarket company products

choice is yours man, stage 2 isnt as great as it seems, if thats all you want to keep your warrenty then fine thats as far as youll get. youll be much faster if you invest he same money into something other than gm and still absolutely safe.

I thought about going the custom route. The installation is no problem for me. The tune would be no problem for me either. I even priced everything I would need. But, I did buy a Stage II kit for $485 shipped to my door. (Sitting next to me, actually.) I still haven't decided if I want to get it installed yet. I don't plan to get crazy with this car.

i have the exact stage 2 injectors and zzp 2.9 pulley i could sell at ya for dirt cheap, only thing you would have to get was the zzp hub. you talking serpentine strongsville? only thing i bought from them was the stage 2 belt which was like 40 bucks or something, my pulley was 100 and stage 2 injectors 100 that i bought form here and i got a tune from wickedss, so 250 for the exact kit. im putting in my 2.6 and 60s next month your more than welcome to pick this up from me and save your money. PLUS the only way "that you can keep your warrenty" is if you get a certified gm tech ot install it on their clock, whihc would be minimum 200. its your choice man stage2 is a good upgrade if you dont wanna do much, ill help you put in a drop in k&n which is awesome ive been running with that forever and you still get the s/c screaming at ya

stage2 and intake i was running 13.9s-14.1s trapping at 101-104 whihc is pretty respectful, youll need a lower gap spark plugs too

$150 is a steal for install. May be your best bet, but honestly, a custom tune is WAY better and I'm not just saying that cuz I'm one of Ohio's local tuners. I can even give you the Official GM Stage Kit Tune if you want, have it in my tune library

Quaker City Raceway, Salem Ohio. I think I have 3 Cobalt SS's signed up so far and a few others said they were going to show up but not race. There are 4 more spots open.

I decided on 2.85. After reading the Eaton modification guide, I wanted to go smaller than 2.9. But I'm not going to have all the supporting heat reduction mods as of right now. I figured 2.85 was an OK compromise. I'm going to order the rest of the stuff I need today.
