quick question

does anyone know if running more than 18 psi of boost will damage anything? my brother claims his friend is a mechanic and said some tard cracked the head from running 18 psi. is this true? not that i run that much i was just wondering and have never heard of anything like that before. Thanks

should not be any problem, especially if you have cooling mods.

yea there should be no problem, about cooling mods i was watching this thing on you tube where they put a CRYO2 kit on the inter-cooler and it's suppossed to cool the air by 70 degrees you should look into it.

18 psi on what engine? whats supplying the boost? any supporting mods? tuned?

2.2 running 18 psi of boost on a turbo (depending on CFM) is gonna blow the engine w/o some internals, however a 2.0 can safely run 18 psi of boost on stock supercharger with a tune and bigger injectors.

like im not trying to be a hater but try to be more specific.

yea bro he's talking about the 2.0 engine i wish the 2.2 could stand that much force but we have to forged everything and do a bunch of expensive stuff it sucks

pretty much its all about the tune. if you have a good tune then your set for anything. the psi wont bust your engine it will be from you leaning out
