What Should I Do?

I bought ebay projectors with 6000k HID kit pre-assembled (1st generation). I got them in and they look pretty good. I went to class earlier today and it was raining and when I got out of class I noticed they both were fogging up. It's a bitch to aim these projectors and I still don't know exactly what is a good aim. Should I return to stock headlights?

Also, I noticed I have been hitting my front bumper a lot on driveway slants. What is a good way to remove those scratches? I know they're not visible but the fact that I know they're there is aggravating.

Bumpity Bump.

1st gen projectors are well known to leak. You have 2 good options, one: you heat em up in your oven (any of the headlight painting how-to's will instruct you how to do this), take em apart, and reseal them.
Two: There's a silicone-based liquid you can spray in and over your headlights that seals any gaps. I'm not sure what the product is called but I know some people on the site have talked about it. Someone who reads this can likely tell you the name. I'd probably recommend the first option though, its a guaranteed seal if you do it yourself.
As for the scratches, are they just surface scratches, or deep? If theyre just in the clear coat a buff and a wax should get em out.

Well they scratch on the concrete of a driveway so I'm assuming they're deep.

How did you aim your HIDs?

Anyone else's input?

You probably need to get em filled, wetsanded, and clearcoated. Paintwork is not my forte, I filled and coated a nice deep scratch on my driver's side door and you can't see it.. but it took a lot of work spread over 3 days and a whole lot of aggravation lol. Next one I'm just gonna get a shop to touch up.

If you can't see em, just wax over them so the paint doesn't go unprotected. And turn into your driveway on angle!

My headlights are a different generation than yours, mine have 2 8mm bolts under each bulb that adjust the cutoff up/down and left/right. Yours might be different.

I went back to stock. Had my projectors and hids for 3 days and was sick of dealing with the aiming so I sold em.
