i got mine in today. it does not even come with a tip, its not a corsa. its a GM performance. but im going to have to go buy a new tip because this one looks just sawed off

 

dont they use the stock tip that came with the car and weld it on??

GM exhaust is Borla . All the info is available that says it DOES NOT come with a tip .

 

I have the same exhaust. If you look at the small print on the instructions, it clearly says Borla, not Corsa. I attempted to use my stock tip, but I could not get it to line up right because it was too short. In the end, I just spent another $50 and had the muffler shop weld one on for me.

 

gm accessories has tha tips to finish exhaust yes i kno its stupid but o well

 

no pictures. its cool that it has GM PERFORMANCE PARTS on the side of the muffler. i see now where i have to spend $65 for a tip.

 

You'd think they'd mention that there is no tip.

 

i saw it and i thought oh hell no thats not my tip. lets just say it better have good performance because i like my stock one just as good

 

oh yeah.. btw the gm exhausts don't come with tips they did it to keep the costs low

Wasted your money, buy a magnaflow. Come on they have been into performance exausts way longer then GM. If it is borla then I would think it would come witha freaking tip, WTF! The magnaflow fills that area in the bumper so much better then the stocker or the borla IMO.

 

Every GM site Ive seen this exhaust listed it has said the tip is not included . Seeing some of GM's offered accessory tips, they arent all that great looking . Better to not charge you for a tip you dont like , and let you make your own choice ....eh? Some exhaust tips like the Corsa style ( which corsa wont sell separate from the exhaust ) , much like our stock tip are as much as a $100 , which woulda made the exhaust kits more expensive .

i had already prdered the exhaust. i bought this exhaust because u get 12 hp rather than 7 with magnaflow

 

how much did u guys pay for the magnaflows or the gm ones?? is the magnaflow much louder than stock??

 

I ordered the GM one and am paying $420 shipped. There are 2 from GMPP, 17802110 and 17802111. I think the GMPP ones are like 5 and 10 db louder than stock.
