I am thinking of a meet & greet Saturday, March 15th at the Fayetteville Southbound Reststop along I-95 between exits 47 and 49(on the bypass). We can meet up there and cruise into Fayetteville to eat. The rest stop would be an easy place to find for everyone and we could get rolling shots on the highway while leaving, I have a class until 12 and was thinking of an official meet time of 1pm. I think that would be a good place since it is only an hour away from the SC border so it is only a gallon or so of gas from there. It is about the same from Raliegh(slightly farther, but I have made it from Fayetteville to Durham in 45 min... ) I have noticed a lot of people in between and those east and west shouldnt have a hard time getting here either. What does everyone think of this? Should I extend the date? Ect.

 

I'm off that day with no plans at this point in time. I live in Florence, SC; I'm only about 45 - 60 min from South of the Border.

 

Alright so it would be roughly an hour and a half for ya, feel like driving 3 hours? Also see if you can bring balts in your area. I am hoping to make this a regular thing.

Also as this gets closer I will be PMing my number to everyone so when we hold the roll call and someone may be late they can let us know so we can act accordingly. If they have car trouble and are close enough we may intercept... That would be pretty hot to see a bunch of Cobalts all on the side of the highway...

 

well im still in iraq and thats the day i get back i mean the actuall day i touch down in bragg and i wont have my car till the following weekend cuz i gotta make that trip to texas to pick it up so if its a regular thing id be down when i finally get back with my car

I look at it this way, If atleast 4 other people dont change thier maybe's to yes's by Thursday the meet is canceled.

Smells like a cancel to me.. My maybe would turn into a definate yes if there were several other definate yes' as well. I have driven too far for too few enough times. I'll keep an eye on the thread though

 

Well we got 2 days, It does smell like a cancel but I gotta talk to FK and see if he is gonna come, if so he probably knows a few other cobalts in the area.
