17x9s have arrived

As some of you may know I ordered some Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels in 17x9 +30 offset from Team Illuminata, and UPS brought me a present today

Strut clearance is about 5/8"

Tires are Hankook RS3 255/40-17s on order from Discount tire Direct and are on a short delay. But, should be here by my next event on 3-19. We'll see if the Pedders springs are enough to keep these from rubbing the fenders!

Oh, and Powell hardcore bar in the mail! The STX build is coming along nicely!

Had very little time to snap some pics tonight, I'll post more when the tires come in.

They're more popular in europe as I understand it. Right at $1k shipped with center caps. Usually take 12-16 weeks for delivery but, they happened to have a set in stock. I wanted to go darker but 16 weeks wait or about 10 days? I'll take the silver.

In for pics. They look darker in the first pic. That gunmetal color would look hot

They look darker in some pics cause of the camera flash. They're just a little bit darker than the stock TC wheels. Would have loved the gun metal though.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting, no word on the tires yet. They were on a short back order but, I saved $100 over TireRack though.

I am interested how much you end up liking these. I am going to be running my SS/SC in STX this year (my first year autocrossing). I have been trying to decide what wheel/tire package I wanted to run. I had pretty much given up on a 17x9 configuration but the cost of this setup has put that option back on the list.

They look great. Hope they work out well.

Once you get your tires mounted let me know your thoughts on a 9.5" 26mm with a 255.
